The Day Droplet Fell

Spencer Brown

When a small raindrop named Droplet falls away from his best friend Nimbus, a gentle cloud in the sky, he begins a heartfelt journey through the natural world. As Droplet moves through rain, rivers, and streams, he learns that change is a part of growing, even when it feels scary or lonely. Along the way, he meets new friends, discovers inner strength, and begins to understand that love and connection can remain, even when things change.

The Day Droplet Fell is a beautifully illustrated children's picture book about friendship, emotional growth, and resilience. Through the calming rhythm of the water cycle, this story helps young readers explore big feelings in a safe and comforting way. Perfect for ages 6-12, this thoughtful story encourages conversations about change, loss, and hope, while reminding children that every ending can also be a new beginning.
